In brief
OPS Professional includes the complete current (OPS 2010) German-language edition of the OPS codes for the coding of operations and procedures in hospital in-patient care and in the area of out-patient surgery. The complete system is included, along with instructions for coding and exclusions and inclusions.
The search function includes both the system and an integrated diagnosis thesaurus.

How do you use OPS Professional?

The Start menu provides direct access to all significant functions, such as full text search, favorites, and history. The icons at the bottom edge of the screen can be used to call up additional functions if you are already in a sub-item.

The "OPS Picker" can be used for fast coding of the available codes. The index wheels in the lower part of the screen can be used to select any combination of the first three digits of the code. The top window lists all instances found. Clicking on a code drills down into its actual content.

Each OPS code is shown with detailed information on coding instructions, inclusions, and exclusions.

The search function can be used to combine one or more search terms with AND and OR functions, and includes an automatic procedure thesaurus.

OPS Professional contains the entire coding system. All areas (sections, subsections, codes, instructions, etc.) can be paged through according to their hierarchical structure.

The target group of this application includes all staff and physicians in hospital and out-patient care..

We also provide an app with identical structure for the coding of diagnoses: IDC Professional.
