Cisco names Consist “Sustainability Partner of the Year Germany 2025"

Kiel – After the award was presented to Consist at a ceremony in San Diego during the Cisco Partner Summit 2025, it has now arrived in Germany. Bernd Tauber, Partner Account Executive at Cisco/Splunk, presented the “Sustainability Partner of the Year Germany” award to the Consist team at their headquarters in Kiel on December 4, 2025. This also made Consist Cisco's Solution Partner of the Year Germany.

Consolidating and analyzing IT/OT data and reducing energy costs

The potential for reducing costs and emissions through the targeted use of data for building management or industrial manufacturing is astonishing and was decisive for the award. In an innovative energy management project, Splunk consultants from Consist were able to demonstrate how merging and analyzing relevant IT/OT data can reduce energy costs in industrial manufacturing by 20-30%. The data specialists have also achieved sustainable success in other customer projects in the area of energy costs for buildings and IT infrastructures.

To give companies faster insight into the possibilities of energy management through data, the Consist team is currently working on a demo lab. The aim is to demonstrate the performance of the underlying IT technology in generating IT/OT data transparency and identifying areas for optimization in a concise and impressive manner.
