Consist celebrates opening its new building

Consist organized the official opening ceremony for its new company headquarters in Kiel Friedrichsort with hundreds of guests on August 23, 2019. The highlight of the event was a laser show on the side of the building.

Kiel – Consist Software Solutions celebrated the opening of its new company building in Kiel Friedrichsort by hosting a big party on August 23, 2019 with staff, customers, business partners and representatives from politics and industry. The celebrations were accompanied by speeches by Dr Bernd Buchholz, Minister of Economic Affairs, Transport, Employment, Technology and Tourism for Schleswig-Holstein, Dr Ulf Kämpfer, Mayor of Kiel, Andreas Alexander Eule, Vice President of the IHK Kiel, Klaus Winkler, Managing Director of Informationsverarbeitung für Versicherungen GmbH (ivv), along with Consist’s Managing Directors, Martin Lochte-Holtgreven and Jörg Hansen, and Daniel Ries from the Consist World Group. These speeches were followed by a laser show and fireworks, set to music, which impressively lit up Consist’s company building.

Over 400 guests enjoyed the rest of the evening with live music performances. Tours provided interested participants with a personal impression of the company building.

In place of gifts, Consist asked for donations towards renovating the concert hall in Kiel’s Castle. According to figures from the Konzertsaal am Kieler Schloss e. V. association, this amounted to a substantial sum of over €3,000, which Consist then rounded up to €4,000.

About the new company building

Consist moved into its new headquarters in Kiel Friedrichsort on January 1, 2019. It is situated on a 16,000 square meter plot, with a net floor area of 7,000 square meters spread over 6 floors. This provides enough capacity for the further planned growth. Millions of Euros were invested in modernizing the building complex, which now offers state-of-the-art IT workstations directly by the sea and features colorful, spacious and light rooms.
