Consist Software Solutions donated 4,000 Euros to the Zentrale Bildungs- und Beratungsstelle für Migrantinnen und Migranten e. V. (ZBBS - Organization for counselling, supporting and accompanying of immigrants, especially refugees ) today. The ZBBS focuses on education and counselling services for refugees and immigrants, integration courses and an active networking and meeting place. Consist has supported individual, regionally-oriented social and community projects for years.

Kiel - Today, Martin Lochte-Holtgreven, Managing Director of Consist Software Solutions, handed a donation check to the amount of 4,000 Euros to Mona Golla from the Management Board at ZBBS. The money is to go towards German courses for refugees. "Learning the language is a crucial requirement for integrating refugees. I am very pleased that the colleagues at Consist decided that the donation should be used for this purpose", says Martin Lochte-Holtgreven.

Consist's social commitment

Once a year the IT service provider, headquartered in Kiel, with additional offices in Berlin, Frankfurt and Braunschweig and active throughout Germany, makes a donation to charity. Priority is given to those associated with the region. The staff at Consist has a company-wide vote to decide which organization should receive the donation. This year the ZBBS was selected. Last year Consist's donation went to the Kiel Initiative against Childhood Poverty inka e.V.

About the ZBBS

The organization was founded in 1985 and is a member of the Flüchtlingsrat Schleswig-Holstein (Refugee Council) and the Paritätischer Landesverband Schleswig-Holstein (joint regional organization). The ZBBS covers the fields of counselling, education (language courses), integration courses and public relations. It sees itself as an intercultural meeting place and place for intercultural exchange and learning. The aim is to experience cultural diversity in Germany as an asset. With its offers, the ZBBS stands for democracy, social responsibility, openness and tolerance.
