Consist invited specialists to join User Conference at the secIT

First time in Germany: User Conference on Insider Threat Management with ObserveIT

Two premieres took place on March 6, 2018 in Hannover: On the one hand the new security event "secIT" of the Heise Medien Group and on the other hand the local User Conference for the multiply awarded IT security solution ObserveIT

Kiel – In 2010, Consist Software Solutions GmbH discovered ObserveIT for the German market and one year later became the first certified partner in Germany. Since then, the security solution has established itself as the world's leading insider threat monitoring and analytics tool. Current data protection regulations and EU regulations can be demonstrably fulfilled in terms of IT security from the inside out.

How this can be implemented into practice exactly, participants and security experts exchanged during the conference, Consist had invited to. In the user report of a company, among other things, requirements and regulations of the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht) and the associated logging of highly privileged IT administrators were mentioned, who have unlimited rights in a company. Simon Sharp, Vice President (VP) of International Sales, presented further interesting use cases from the DACH region. Which features will be important in the future, explained Mayank Choudhary, VP of Products at ObserveIT. In light of increasing data volumes and ever more complex threat scenarios, these are not just the answer to corresponding legal requirements.
