Managing Director Martin Lochte-Holtgreven is retiring

Consist Managing Director Martin Lochte-Holtgreven is retiring after more than 28 years. He played a key role in shaping the company. On June 22, 2023, he was honored at a ceremony on the company's premises in Kiel Friedrichsort.

Kiel – The long-time Managing Director of Consist Software Solutions, Martin Lochte-Holtgreven, will retire on July 1, 2023. "I am leaving with a deep sense of gratitude for the time spent together with all employees, customers and business partners," Martin Lochte-Holtgreven sums up. "With Jörg Hansen as Managing Director for many years, and the efficient team, Consist has the best prerequisites for continued success from now on," he adds, looking ahead to the company's future.

During his time as Managing Director, he has driven forward important developments, significantly shaped the strategic direction of the company, and decisively developed Consist. With skill, experience, and always with an absolute passion for business and people," explains Jörg Hansen, who has been Managing Director of Consist since 2018.

On June 22, 2023, Martin Lochte-Holtgreven was honored for his services and high level of commitment at a company celebration on the business premises in Kiel Friedrichsort. After more than 28 years, this marks the end of his time as Managing Director at Consist.

Martin Lochte-Holtgreven’s life

Martin Lochte-Holtgreven (born in 1957) has been Managing Director of Consist Software Solutions GmbH, formerly MaK DATA SYSTEM Kiel GmbH, since 1995. After studying in Kiel and the USA and graduating with a degree in mathematics from Kiel University, he worked in internal data processing and on external consulting assignments for Krupp MaK Maschinenbau GmbH from 1983 before supplementing his business management education with the MBA program at INSEAD in Fontainebleau. From 1990 to 1995, he worked as a freelance corporate consultant specializing in IT strategy and IT management.

In addition, the graduate mathematician was publicly appointed as a court expert for commercial data processing from 1993 to 2003. For many years, he organized the IT Users' Circle with almost 100 events, headed the Multimedia Campus sponsor association and co-founded the Mediatage Nord. He was chairman of the IHK working group on digital economy and digitalization, organized the DiWiSH IT security specialist group, was part of the steering team of the cybersecurity service point there, and was a member of the Maritime Forum Kiel and the advisory board of ZKW, Center for Culture and Science Communication at Kiel University of Applied Sciences.
