Consist is successfully conducting virtual teaching at Kiel University of Applied Sciences

Online lectures well accepted

The coronavirus crisis caused Consist to swiftly convert its SAP teaching at Kiel University of Applied Sciences from an attendance seminar to an online course.

Kiel – Within just a few days, Consist successfully transformed the SAP seminar at Kiel University of Applied Sciences from an attendance event into an online course: the experts at Consist have been conducting these seminars as web conferences since March 16, 2020. Consist’s SAP team has been responsible for teaching SAP seminars in the Department of Economics at Kiel University of Applied Sciences since 2012. When switching to virtual teaching, the speakers from the IT service provider, Consist, were able to make use of the company’s many years of experience with the e-learning platform Moodle. Consist has been using Moodle for teaching materials, case studies and exercises for a long time. The SAP team has received extremely positive feedback from the students about the online seminars.

The reason behind the change is the ban on face-to-face teaching due to the current coronavirus pandemic. Kiel University of Applied Sciences was thus able to start the virtual summer semester. The majority of teaching is currently taking place via the Internet.
