Consist at the #diwokiel 2021

Consist is on board once again this year with events and sponsoring at the Digital Week Kiel. The popular digital festival in the north will be held from September 12 to 19, 2021.

Kiel – Consist Software Solutions will be supporting the Digital Week Kiel once again as a friends sponsor and offering events which provide a lot of practical insight into digitalization and digital occupational profiles.

On September 15, 2021 from 12 to 1:30pm, the focus will be on the topic of "Data mining – generating added value". Here, those interested can find out about the opportunities for SMEs through using and evaluating data. Two companies from Kiel will be used to present the options for and examples of implementing digitalization projects to extract valuable data. A podium discussion afterwards will highlight why an SME should deal with the topic of data, which new opportunities result from it and what a good first step looks like.

The event, organized jointly by Consist and the Digital Week Kiel, is of a hybrid design and free of charge. Please sign up beforehand. Details can be found on the Digital Week Kiel’s website.

On September 16, 2021 from 4:30 to 6:30pm, the interactive hybrid event "New jobs, new opportunities for your children – an overview of new digital occupational profiles" will be taking place. Staff from exciting companies and university faculties from Schleswig-Holstein will be using specific examples to present new occupations from real life practice. Nicolas Dohrendorf, Managing Consultant for Big Data and the Digital Transformation at Consist, will be presenting the digital occupations at Consist within this context. The event is aimed primarily at parents and those responsible for career orientation. After the event, participants will have heard of specific occupational profiles/degree programs from the digital industry, they will know the admission requirements and companies which offer training in these areas or who are looking for specialist staff.

About the Digital Week Kiel – 5 year anniversary

The Digital Week Kiel is the digital festival in Schleswig-Holstein, which will be taking place for the fifth time from September 12 to 19, 2021.

#diwokiel2021 focuses on the questions of how we can actively and creatively shape the digital transformation, and how we can use digital technologies to benefit the industry and society. It will also be looking at how we can create a future worth living, together.
